Daddy Day Care vs. Dumb and Dumberer

This is for May 9th. I see Olympic has Daddy Day Care as -5 million (-150). What is this movie supposed to be about, and how well is it supposed to do? I would think Dumb and Dumberer would do well, no? Who is starring in Dumb and Dumberer?

I think this started out at Daddy Day Care -3 million, -115, and everyone jumpd on it... -5 million might make it close, but Daddy Day Care's trailers have been well-received, it's a kids movie, and should do pretty well. So far I've only seen teasers for Dumb and Dumberer, but it's a prequel to Dumb and Dumber without the origional actors, and hasn't generated much positive buzz at all. -3 would have been a steal.

Dumb and Dumberer doesn't have a chance against Daddy Day Care. As soon as everyone figures out they're are two, crappy actors playing the parts... they won't bother with it. It has already got crappy reviews. They are just trying to make money off the name.
Eddie Murphy's movie will kick butt at the box office. Dumb/Dumberer 15m Daddy D 23m

Dumb&Dumberer: Prequel w/out Jim Carrey = BOMB

I could not believe this line when I first saw it, took DDC for the max at -3 mill (-130)

Both movies will suck... The difference is people will pay money and go see Daddy Day Care before realizing it sucks -- they already know Dumb and Dumberer will.

Count me in as someone who was almost suckered by the clever trailer to Dumb and Dumberer (the one that doesn't show the actors). It was on my "must see" list until I finally figured out Carrey and Daniels aren't in it.

I went ahead and bet Daddy Day Care -5mill (had to pay -170 though..) The previews are starting to come out pretty good.. I don't think they will even try to advertise Dumb and Dumberer b/c people will notice the actors.

Early reviews I've read of Daddy Day Care is that it you pretty much see all there is to it in the previews, and due to its "family movie appeal", most of the good dirty jokes that could be dropped in, aren't.

That being said, I think its possible for it to cover -$5 million -- I don't think anyone is even remotely excited about Dumb and Dumberer.

lol I think Daddy Day Care won this one. I was going to play it but had too much money tied up at the time.
